A detailed list of the pro's and con's of Addison moving home with the protection of Cheryl Turner or moving into my sister's care in a CAS kinship plan.
1. Moving home means she may only have to ever move one last time
2. Moving home means emotional bonding with her biological mother.
3. Living with her biological mother ensures she grows up knowing she is wanted and loved.
4. Addison would be with her biological mother, whom she lived with without inncodent for the first 8 months of her life.
5. Addison can be assured quality bonding time and many hours with her mother.
6. Addison would be protected by Cheryl Turner, while being cared for by her mother.
7. Addison has been assessed with her mother by a CAS fit worker who claimed Addison was perfectly content with her mother and in her home enviroment.
8. Addison would be kept on the same schedule.
9. There are no dangerous animals in her mother's home.
10. Addison's life would depend on Cheryl and Kayla getting along vs Tammy and Kayla getting along, chance far better that Cheryl and Kayla will be able to adapt to Addison and her needs then Tammy whom already has biased feelings towards Kayla.
11. Cheryl Turner is willing and able to remain a solid support system between Kayla and Addison without time limits.
12. Kayla is still able to folow through with all aspect of treatment with Cheryl Turner on board.
13. Addison would not have to change daycares.
14. Kayla has showed a major change in the past three mojnths alone with the support of Cheryl Turner and has still been unable to spend any unsupervised time with her daughter, Cheryl can provide the society with detailed accounts of events around the home.
1. Moving to Tammys means making an adjustment, and then having to make another transition once her mother is able to parent alone on a full time basis.
2. Being away from her mother more may make it more difficult on both mother and child.
3. Growing up in any other enviroment means she can be told anythinhg and left to conclude that her mother doesn't want her.
4. Addison would be liviong with her aunt and uncle which may be confusing since her cousin calls them mom and dad.
5. There is no assurance of time with her biological mother.
6. Addison would be transitioned to an entire new family.
7. We do not know how Addison will feel or adjust to living on a full time bases with another child after being the only child.
8. Addison's schedule would change to adjust to life with her new famiy.
9. There is a dangerous dog in the house where she is to live that bit a small child and caused it to bleed without reason.
10. Addison returning home to her mother could severely impact the emotional stae of Tammy Pollock since she has lost several children after thousdands of dollars worth of IVF treatments that counselling and support were never sought out for.
11. Tammy Pollock has NOT been assessed the way Kayla or Cheryl have been thus we have no real direct knowledge of her emotional well being or her state of mind or intentions.
12. Tammy is requesting this be a long term placement only.
13. There is another child in the home who has not been assessed. How does this affect the stability of the home?
14. Addison would eventually change daycares.
