Drop shipping means when a distributer or supplier does the shipping to your customers for you. It means that when an order is placed you notify your supplier and they handle all the shipping on your behalf, they even have your company details on the return label so it looks like it came from you.

1. Your supplier will charge you more to drop ship your items
2. You are still responsible for shipping problems
3. You can not monitor stock levels as closely, so you may get an order for an item that is no longer in stock.
